Hawarden Old Castle will be open on Sunday 18th March for the arrival of the daffodils!
Head to the big red gates opposite The Glynne Arms on foot and on up to the castle for some spectacular views. All entrance fees will be donated to Clwyd Special Riding School.
Adults are £3, up to 2 children are free, and further children are £3. Toddlers go free. There is a great booklet available on the gate with a full history of the castle. All children must be accompanied, and be warned that paths up to the castle are steep. And all dogs are welcome on leads!
Hawarden Old Castle will also be open to the public on 13th May, 17th June and 12th August.
