All roles are paid. Shift patterns will vary with more information given on application. All applicants must be 18+ by 10.09.2019 and must be available between -and inclusive of- 10 - 15 September 2019.
Minibus Drivers + companions.
We are looking for a number of drivers with a full minibus license to transport guests, artists and VIP’s to and from Chester station, the Hawarden Castle Grounds and various hotel locations nearby to Hawarden.
This is a role perfectly suited to a couple or pair who can happily work together; one to drive and one to communicate between the festival logistics staff throughout the trips.
Those applying individually will be paired with another volunteer for the role. Knowledge of the area is desirable although non-essential.
Front of House Staff
We are proud to have world-class chefs cooking for up to 60 people at at a time during our Feasts. Which make up a huge part of The Good Life Experience. Therefore, we are looking for a teams to provide excellent front of house service throughout each scheduled event.
We are looking for confident, enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to represent our brand and give the festival goers the best experience possible in this customer-facing role.
We love to party and what would a festival be without booze? Although we do not consider our event to be a boozy one, with over 3000 guests it is essential that our bars are run to high standard by a team of confident and competent individuals. Shift patterns will vary but with the nature of any bar work, applicants must be hardworking and able to act as a positive representative of our brand and any given time of day or night. We want our guests to have the best experience possible in this customer-facing role.
Feasts at The Good Life Experience are a hugely important part of our event and we are proud to have world-class chefs cooking for our guests during these ticketed events. Feasts take place in the Hawarden Castle Pavilion and can seat up to 60 guests per time. It is essential that the Feasts run to time, to plan and that each chef and diner has the best experience possible. We are looking for an individual who is highly organised to supervise each Feast. The chosen applicant will be the main point of contact throughout these scheduled events and will manage the waiting on team.
Food Liaison Assistant
We are looking for a highly organised individual to act as a support assistant for our Food Manager. This includes sourcing and organising ingredients for multiple food-based events across the site during the event.
A vital and hugely important member of the team is the Kitchen Porter. We are looking for a hardworking individual to get stuck in up at the Hawarden Castle Pavilion kitchen to ensure the Feasts run smoothly.
We rely on a brilliant team of stewards to ensure The Good Life Experience runs as smoothly as possible. We are looking for a number of individuals who are helpful, cheerful and confident to act as a representative of the brand in the customer facing role.
