We asked our Farm Shop Christmas Elves for their top tips this Christmas, here’s what they said…
“Always over order on the prosecco" Gwen
"I go traditional when it comes to Christmas. I like honey roast parsnips, sprouts - steamed and simple. I cook my carrots with with half oranges in the water, add a touch of sugar and it sweetens the water. Roast potatoes in goose fat. Cauliflower cheese with leeks." Kevin
"Fresh salmon for starters with a squeeze of lemon. Roast potatoes - crispy. Sprouts, cauliflowers, broccoli and carrots. Parsnips glazed in honey and ‘Karen’s delicious homemade gravy’, which everybody loves. Red sauce! I have to have red sauce.
Followed by traditional Christmas pudding and a chocolate bomb. Oh and cheesecake and shortbread baked by my Granddaughter” Karen
