With guidance from our expert Butcher Simon our aspiring Young Butcher’s will learn a variety of skills over a course of 6 sessions ending in a Christmas party to celebrate their achievements and in completing the course. The workshops will cover skills like sausage making, burger pressing, chicken prep, some seasonal favourites and more. Skills covered in each session will progress in difficulty, with safely guarded knife skills introduced slowly as the Young Butchers gain confidence.
Each Young Butcher will receive their very own Kit Bag including an apron, burger press, safety gloves and pairing knife which they will be required to bring along to each session.
At the end of each sessions, our Young Butchers will take home a pack of freshly butchered meat ready to share with their friends and family.
£70 for a series of 6 sessions, beginning October 2018. Ages 8+ Session run from 3.45 - 4.45pm.*
Please note there is a maximum number of 8 Young Butchers on the course.

Learn how to make traditional Russian bakes from start to finish with Oksana of the Russian Style Crepes Café, Chester. From Cheesy Buns to Cherry Twist Pie and some seasonal favourites thrown in too. Oksana uses only the best, organic ingredients and will teach your little chefs every step of the way from making the dough, mixing the filling, shaping and preparing the bake, and will cook it for you ready to take home and enjoy.
Parents are welcome to stay and offer a helping hand, or simply sit back and relax in our café whilst Oksana leads the class.
Each workshop costs £12 per child, which includes all ingredients and equipment. Your child will be supplied with an apron, and a carton to take home their baked goods.
Please note places are limited to 15 children per session.
Workshops are suitable for ages 4-12
