Kale Calling – Crunchy Kale Chips by Deliciously Ella
It's Kale season here in North Wales and we have good stocks of homegrown Kale from the Farm Shop grounds. So, whether you're a Kale connoisseur or a new-comer, we've found the perfect recipe by Deliciously Ella to make the most of this wonderful crop.
You've probably come across Ella, she's been everywhere recently from your TV screens to the top of the Amazon book charts. Ella uses whole, plant-based foods that your body will love and has won herself throngs of foodie fans in the process. We're delighted to be having Ella on-site in September when she will be at The Good Life Experience!
Ingredients (Serves 2):
- 1 baking tray of kale leaves
- 1/5 of a cup of olive oil
- a sprinkling of chilli salt
Simply wash the kale, then tear the leaves from the stems. Discard the stems and place the leaves on a piece of parchment paper on top of a baking tray. Drizzle the olive oil onto the leaves and mix well, making sure that all the leaves are totally covered. Then sprinkle the salt over them. Place the tray in a 210C oven for 10-15 minutes until the edges of the leaves begin to brown, at which point they should be nice and crispy and ready to be munched.
