IT’S TIME TO PICK PLUMS!
The time for eating plums is here! Our orchard is full of ripe plums for you to come and pick, and don't forget to tag your photos with #PYOHawarden, as we love to see them. Why are plums good? Well, they are low-calorie with a low glycaemic index score. So even though they are sweet, eating plums isn't likely to cause unhealthy spikes in your blood sugar levels. They also contain useful amounts of vitamin C, which fortifies the body's defences against infection and increases the amount of energy-giving iron that we absorb from food. And they taste fantastic, we're sold.
