This weekend there is plenty for all the family to enjoy in Hawarden
Hawarden Estate Farm Shop – We have an abundance of PYO strawberries, blackcurrants and gooseberries. Our BBQ with homemade beef burgers, hot dogs and steak sandwiches will be open and will also have Cheshire Farm ice cream to cool off with. The cafe will be serving freshly picked strawberries and cream!
The Glynne Arms- Vintage and Antique Market – Tom Brown Esq presents 25 + stalls ranging from; Vintage, jewellery, shabby chic, taxidermy, luggage, fashion etc

The Glynne Arms - Traditional hog roast in association with the Farm Shop – Free range whole pig roasted and served from 12pm with apple sauce, stuffing and salads; enjoy a jug of Pimms, sangria and local ales from Wrexham, Flint, Denbigh and Conwy to cool off.
Hawarden Post Office presents ‘ Hawarden’s Got Talent ‘ –Exhibitions of watercolours by local artist Gordon Wilkinson, ceramics by Kirsti Hannah and history of Hawarden by Bill Pritchard, plus handmade local cards and crafts.
Hawarden Old Castle – Open to the public on Sunday from 2pm – 5pm; entrance £1 by Leopold’s gate opposite The Glynne Arms.
Cricket and Cakes Day – Sunday from 1pm at Hawarden Cricket Club, featuring Tigers v Veterans for the Pattinson Trophy, homemade teas, strawberries & cream, grand raffle, licensed bar, everybody welcome. Alan to spearhead the bowling attack! Hawarden Estate Farm Shop is sponsoring the event with raffle prizes and supplying the players lunch, drinks at the Glynne afterwards.
